It's been a magnificent day! Today my ladies Bible study group did a special order or worship called "For All the Faithful Women." I was so proud of them for writing their recitations and today's applications.
After church we had leftovers because Michael is smoking a turkey breast for a big dinner this evening. Then we all headed outside! I planted 5 delphiniums and we made four planting boxes for our gardens. Alannah hoed the weeds that were growing in the bare dirt and said, "Wow! You and dad have been working hard! This is back-breaking work!" She was so proud of all of our hard work on the flower beds and brought us some lemonade. It was very sweet. I was proud of her for working until the task was completed. I think I will have more seedlings than space, but that's okay. We have a vision for the garden next year and will be working on getting the beds ready this summer and fall.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing and it's a great day! Praise God for all of our blessings!
